kiwis did not bat well and scored only 192 runs. watling scored 55 while mcculum scored 36 runs. malinga and mathews took 3 wickets each. malinga also completed his 100 odi wickets.
lanka started well and were 162 for 3 but on 180 for 7 they were having some trouble. they keep their verve and won the match by 3 wickets.
tharanga scored 70 runs and was MoM. sangakara scored 48 runs. mills took 4 wickets but that was not enough for the kiwis.
in 3rd odi lanka will play against india on 16th august.
